Sommer / Summer

Die Sommerferien dauern noch an und das Wetter ist einfach herrlich. Ein bisschen warm vielleicht, aber ja nicht jammern, alles ist besser als der nasse, kalte Juni!

Unter anderem haben wir eine Wanderung im Nationalpark gemacht und in der Cluozza-Hütte übernachtet. Heftig, heftig, wenn man so absolut untrainiert und unsportlich ist wie ich es bin.... aber ich hab es geschafft und bin ein ganz kleines bisschen stolz auf mich!

The summer holidays are still going on and the weather is simply gorgeous. Maybe a bit warm, but not even whining, anything is better than the wet, cold in June!
Among other things, we went hiking in the national park and stayed in the hut Cluozza. Violent, impetuous, if one is so absolutely untrained and unsporting as I am .... but I've done it and I'm a tiny bit proud of myself!

 

Gestern hat es endlich wieder einmal geregnet und so war die Gelegenheit günstig, mal wieder an die Nähmaschine zu sitzen. Was hab ich mich geärgert, an meiner Janome hat mitten in einer Stepparbeit der Unterfaden nicht mehr richtig funktioniert!!!!! grmbl!!!! Zum Glück war meine Bernina vor 3 Wochen im Service und ich konnte damit weiternähen, aber ärgerlich war es schon!
Trotzdem hab ich es geschafft, meine neue Tasche fertigzustellen.

Yesterday it at last raining and so was a good opportunity to sit again at the sewing machine. What I'm annoyed that my Janome has in the middle of a quilting seam does not work properly because the bobbin thread has not been taken!! grmbl!! Fortunately, my Bernina was 3 weeks before the service and I was able to sew it, but it was annoying!
Still, I managed to finish my new bag.
