Endlich wieder Sonne

Heute endlich mal wieder schönes Wetter! Trotzdem hab ich den Nachmittag an der Nähmaschine verbracht, ich möchte ein kleines Geschenk für einen besonderen Menschen machen.

Today we have had sunshine. But I've spent the afternoon at the sewing machine, I would like to make a small gift for someone special.

Das Ganze war gar nicht so einfach wie gedacht. Irgendwie haben Theorie und Praxis nicht zusammengepasst. Aber ich denke, so kann ich es lassen. Morgen geht es an die Randgestaltung und auf die Watte und dann kann ich den Mini quilten. Ich schwanke noch zwischen horizontalen Linien (im Sand) und vertikalen Linien (im Himmel) oder aber eine Karawane im Vordergrund. Schneller wären die Linien allemal und auch effektvoll. Das gibt wieder eine schlaflose Nacht... *lol*
The whole thing was not as easy as I thought. Somehow the theory and practice did not fit together. But I think it's ok so. Tomorrow it goes to the edge design and the batting and then I can quilt the Mini. I still vacillate between horizontal lines (in the sand) and vertical lines (in the sky) or a camel caravan in the foreground. the lines were faster and also effective. This will be again a sleepless night ... *lol*
